The Press Association: Record label ends single production

The Press Association: Record label ends single production.

Mercury have stopped making CD and vinyl singles unless it’s an exceptional circumstance. In other words when they can make a guaranteed profit.

Combined vinyl and cd sales equated to just 2,292 in one recent week, that’s 0.16% of the total sales for that period.

I suppose it was coming but I dread to think what might happen should sales of downloads might happen.

My advice is your cd’s will become collectable (some already are) and learn Comptia and any other pc hardware qualification you can because the next instant millionaires will be the

Computer MP3 Recovery technician.

Right must get back to these books….christ how many flaming operating systems are there???
